Furthermore, based on analysis using our unique AKPI® (Achievement-motivated Key Performance Indicators) and IR functions, we monitor performance in education and research to identify our strengths and characteristics so as to implement strategic management that makes the most of them.With the aim of strengthening our educational and research capabilities as well as corporate management, HU has appointed two outside individuals with experience in industry and other educational and research institutions as part-time Executive Directors.In addition, meetings are held twice a month between the President and Executive Directors to share management information such as HU’s challenges, goals, and strategies. Furthermore, the President and Auditors meet weekly, in principle, to exchange opinions in order to improve and enhance the management of the educational corporation. Through these efforts, we are creating a system that enables the President’s decision-making to be carried out swiftly and accurately.HU has set up the Administrative Council to deliberate important matters related to the management of the university. The Administrative Council is composed of Internal Councilors, including the President and Executive Directors, and External Councilors who have extensive and deep knowledge about universities.
