Formulated in AY2023, the “SPARK ! Plan” aims to revitalize HU’s education and research by employing young researchers in distinctive education and research fields that lead the university and to contribute to the development of academia by cultivating their capabilities. As part of this, in the AY2024 faculty personnel recruitment for Assistant Professors for Training and Selected Assistant Professors, we widely recruited young faculty members from both inside and outside the university to grow together with our university, with the aim of nurturing young faculty members. In addition, the university has been ranked number one in the Chugoku-Shikoku region for the past five years in both total number of medical papers and number of top 10% papers.
